David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez are widely regarded as the most feared and productive No. 3 and 4 hitters in the game. They certainly are earning enough hardware to prove it.
Over the past few years, teams who have faced these two have felt the wrath of their bat many times. This past season, the two hitters combined for 89 Home Runs and 239 RBI’s. Since 2003 when Ortiz joined the Red Sox, the dynamic duo racked up 333 HRs and 1005 RBI’s.
Hopefully they will stay in Boston a few more years, but only time can tell.
