2007 Sugar Bowl: LSU vs. Notre Dame

LSU really dominated Notre Dame all night on total yards and that was their downfall. Some people blame it on penalties and turnovers, but Notre Dame can’t. ND had the same amount of turnovers with less penalty yards and they still managed to lose.

LSU was on top 14-0 in the final few minutes of the first quarter but Brady Quinn of ND threw a 24 yard touchdown pass bringing them to within seven. Late in the second quarter, ND tied it up 14-14 for about a minute but LSU rushed in for a touchdown. LSU did not look back.

After two more field goals and two more touchdowns, LSU beat Notre Dame 41-14 giving ND their ninth consecutive bowl game loss.

Congratulations to the Louisiana State University Tigers on winning the 2007 Allstate Sugar Bowl
