AFC Wildcard Game – Patriots vs. Jets

What is San Diego like in January, next week we will find out because the Patriots are headed out west for the Divisional Playoff weekend to face the 1st place 14-2 Chargers.

However, the game vs the jets was one that the Patriots dominated 37-16. The pats started off their first drive going up the field ending it with an 10 yard touchdown run from Corey Dillon.

The Jets got a touchdown on a short pass with a long run after kicking a field goal making the score 10-7 Jets. A few minutes later the Patriots tied it with a 20 yard FG when Brady couldn’t put it in the end zone. On the Pats next scoring opportunity, Brady threw a 1 yard TD pass to Daniel Graham. The only scoring in the 3rd quarter was 3 Field Goals, 2 by the Patriots and 1 by the Jets. Going into the 4th quarter, the Patriots were on top 23-13.

Three minutes into the 4th, the Jets made it a 7 point game getting a 37 yard field goal. After that, the Patriots took over and secured their place in the divisional game with a Kevin Faulk 7 Yd Pass and capping it with an Asante Samuel 36 Yd Interception Return.
