Why Are The Turks Always Involved With Terrorism/Killings?

Herzl Tobey is not a terrorist, but an actor who frequently plays middle eastern/terrorists parts.
Herzl Tobey
I was watching a repeat episode of “The Unit” tonight and I really felt that I needed to write about it.

Episode Description: The team participates in a unique competition known as the CT Games that puts them up against other Special Forces units from around the world. Things take a bad turn when one of the teams appears to be taking things too far to win.

At the beginning of the episode, the German leader told the Jonas that the Turkish Special Forces were not yet ready for the games and that they were only going to observe. The US troops were given the role of the terrorists and they wanted to put off the perfect attack in the subway. However, they were not expecting that the Turkish Special Forces leader would be listening to their every move and try and actually put off the attack in real life and not in training. The Turk told Jonas that “The Turkish Special Forces were ready for the games” and then Jonas shot him in the shoulder.

The only reason I am writing this is because I feel that whenever a man of middle eastern decent is an actor, he is always given the part of a terrorist. However, in this case, the Turks are always involved in killings anyway so it fits the stereotype. (I don’t actually believe that, but because I am Armenian…it is on my mind :))

*** END SPOILER ****

This is a list of all of the parts that Herzl Tobey has played in movies/tv shows. Notice that he is Armenian #1 in the pilot episode of “The Heist” and in the shield he plays Armin Chorekian who is of Armenian decent. Armenians are not terrorists, but because they are from the middle east, everyone places them in that category.
