Mike Lowell Re-signs 3 Year Contract With The Red Sox

lowell-7995302008 is going to be awesome and I feel as if the Red Sox now have a better chance at winning another World Series. The MVP of the 2007 World Series just re-signed with the Red Sox for a 3 year deal which is what they were looking for. Lowell was looking for a 4 year deal, but since today was the last day for negotiations with the Sox, he decided that 3 years would work. The biggest decision they had to make in the off-season was to re-sign him and they did. Since they already re-signed Schilling for 1 more year, they are going to have an amazing line up and rotation/bullpen.

With all of his success in 2007, I would have been shocked if the Red Sox let him go.
