Piers Morgan Named The Celebrity Apprentice

Twelve weeks and twelve celebrities later, tonight was the last night of the Celebrity Apprentice. The final two were Trace Adkins and Piers Morgan and they were planning an event for charity. The goal was to raise money at the auction, raise money with ticket sales and plan a great event. Ultimately it was because Piers was able to raise about $750,000 and Trace only raised about $100,000. However, I don’t think that Piers deserved it. He made everyone mad at one point during the process, but the only good thing that he did was get Omarosa off the show.

I really dislike her because since she was on the Apprentice in season 1, she has thought that she was the end all be all of human existence. I hope she will realize that she is going through life trying to make people hate her and in the grand scheme of life, she is going to be in for a rude awakening once this “trip” she is on ends.

Trace Adkins was amazing and he is 1,000 times better than person/competitor that Piers is. I do not like country music, but now I can at least listen to him because of my new found respect for what he is going through with his daughter. Food Allergies affect 12,000,000 Americans. Many of those people are so allergic, that if someone has peanut butter on their hands and they get to close, the affected person can go into Anaphylaxis. Congratulations Trace on never giving up your morals to get ahead in this game. Also because you played this game to win not for the bragging rights but to help save millions of people. You cared about your charity because it affects you personally and you never let that go.

Even though I don’t think he deserves it, he is playing for charity and it is a great one. The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund is a leader in supporting the men and women of the Armed Forces and their families. “From 2000 to 2005 the Fund provided close to $20 million to families of United States military personnel lost in performance of their duty, mostly in service in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Fund provided unrestricted grants of $11,000 to each spouse and $5,000 to each dependent child; and $1,000 to parents of unmarried service members. The payments were coordinated with the casualty offices of the Armed Forces, to ensure all families received these benefits. In 2005 a new law substantially increased the benefits granted to these families. With that mission therefore accomplished, the Fund redirected its support toward the severely injured.
