(except the Red Sox who won the division on September 29th…I was inside “Game On” watching the Yankees lose giving us the title). Currently the Red Sox are 4.5 games behind the Rays and the Yankees are 11 1/2 with 17 games as their E#.

Last night, before the Red Sox took the field, there were 2 game left for the elimination number of the Yankees from the division, which means a Red Sox win and Yankees loss would clinch.
