Eliot Spitzer, Governor of New York, Resigns From Office

Effective Monday, March 17, 2008 at noon, Eliot Spitzer will be resigning as Governor of New York for being in bed with…well Prostitutes. Lieutenant Governor David Paterson will assume office and he will be the 4th African American Governor (Deval Patrick in Massachusetts) and the first legally blind Governor in the country.
