Red Sox Snap Losing Streak; Pedroia Saves Possible Run

After the longest losing streak of the season at 5 games, the Red Sox were able to pull off a win thanks to Kevin Youkilis and Dustin Pedroia. The ball flew over the head of Papelbon and everyone thought it was a RBI single, but Dustin dove then throwing it to first to get the out and end the frame.

Red Sox Sweep Mini Series in Oakland

After a big 2-1 win over the Athletics in the first game of the second, two game, series in early April, the Red Sox and A’s fought it out in the afternoon today. The Sox couldn’t break it open in the 8th with the bases loaded and no outs, but they managed to bring two runs home.

Today, the Red Sox struck hard and this time the bullpen did not give up the lead…the 9 run lead that is. The Red Sox went on to beat the Yankees 10-1 in the middle game of the three game series.
