Philadelphia Phillies Are The 2008 World Series Champions

Congratulations to the 2008 World Series champions, Philadelphia Phillies. They played very well except for game 2 which they lost. The entire postseason was amazing, but I wish the Red Sox were the ones taking the trophy. 🙂

Ever Remember That Day From The Year Before?

Today when I was driving home from work, I was thinking about September 12th from one year ago and what I was doing on that day. It was the day after I went to the Red Sox game on September 11th and it was another major day in every American’s life.

Red Sox Make Baseball History And My Name Is Part Of It

I just got back from the Red Sox game (which they won) and now there are 16 million people (tickets) who can say that they are a part of history. All of the people who’s tickets in are their name will have their names sent to the baseball hall of fame as part of the historic record.

Red Sox Will Break Sellout Record And I Will Be There

On September 8th, 2008, the Red Sox will break the MLB record for most consecutive home sellouts. The Red Sox streak started May 15, 2003 and will go for quite some time since the Red Sox have now gained millions of new fans.

Headed Into Fenway Park Tonight; Red Sox Vs. Orioles

For my birthday, my sister and brother in law gave me tickets to the Red Sox game for tonight against the Orioles. GO RED SOX _____________ Update: not only did the Red Sox beat the Orioles 7-4, but Dustin Pedroia broke the Red Sox record for number of hits in a single season for a second baseman.

Not Even The End Of August And Two MLB Teams Eliminated

(except the Red Sox who won the division on September 29th…I was inside “Game On” watching the Yankees lose giving us the title). Currently the Red Sox are 4.5 games behind the Rays and the Yankees are 11 1/2 with 17 games as their E#.

Sox To Play Final Last Games In Yankee Stadium Tomorrow

The Red Sox will start a three game series against the Yankees at Yankee Stadium. It is the last time that the Red Sox will play in the old Yankee Stadium as the new Yankee Stadium will be opened at the beginning of next season.

What A ‘Bay’; Jasons Hits Two Home Runs To Give Sox Win

Jason Bay and Jason Varitek combined for 5 of the 6 runs the Red Sox scored against the Baltimore Orioles. Jason Bay hit a solo Home Run in the second inning, stole a base and then in the 8th inning, hit a 2 run home run to put the Sox up by a few.

Manny Ramirez Going To LA Dodgers; Jason Bay To Boston

It’s official, Manny Ramirez is no longer on the Boston Red Sox. – source Manny was a icon in Boston for the last 7 years, but after some of his comments and actions recently, I am glad the Red Sox traded him.

Red Sox Get Swept By Angels, Unable To Produce Enough Runs

Beckett continued to have trouble in the sixth, so much so that the Angels landed a knockout punch. Jeff Mathis followed with an RBI double and after a Chone Figgins single, Beckett was lifted in favor of Manny Delcarmen.
