Barack Obama Officially Accepted The Democratic Nomination

Tonight in Denver, CO, Barack Obama accepted the Democratic nomination for President of the United States in front of 84,000 people. When I talked about Hillary being VP, I was actually just looking for the votes, but when her and Bill spoke to the Dems at the DNC, I am hoping that their convincing arguments will turn those equal numbers from recent weeks back onto Obama’s side show McCain and his “advisers” that America wants change and not more of the same.

Obama So Close To Clinching Nomination Until Today

Up until tonight, we were looking at the Barack Obama, Democratic nominee for President of the United States. Speaking of race, Ohio voters stated that 1 of 5 voters made their determination by race. Ohio voters believe that a very intelligent man who happens to be a darker color than others is not fit to run this country.

The Republic Of Armenia Could Get It’s Learner’s Permit

On this day in Armenian History 1991, the Republic of Armenia declared it’s freedom from the (former) Soviet Union to be apart of the New Independent States which later became the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States).

Germany To Give 79.5 Million Euro To Help Armenia

It was noted that Germany intends to provide 79.5 million euros (more than 110 million USD) as financial assistance for Armenia. Being Armenia‚??s second (after the United States) donor state, Germany has assigned some 265 million euros for Armenia since 1993.

Today In History: New Hampshire Admitted As 9th US State

New Hampshire was one of the original Thirteen Colonies and became the ninth state to ratify the United States Constitution in 1788. New Hampshire was the first U.S. state to have its own state constitution, and is the only state with neither a general sales tax nor an income tax.

The land purchased contained parts or all of present-day Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota west of the Mississippi River, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, New Mexico, northern Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, the portions of Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado east of the Rocky Mountains, the portions of southern Manitoba, southern Saskatchewan and southern Alberta that drain into the Missouri River, and Louisiana on both sides of the Mississippi River, including the city of New Orleans.
