CA Armenian Student, Class Valedictorian, Being Deported

Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein, who has introduced such so-called private bills in the past, is gathering Arthur’s information to introduce a bill on his behalf, her Washington office said. On Monday, Radanovich plans to meet with the Armenian ambassador to the United States to ask that, if deportation can’t be prevented, Arthur be allowed to apply for a student visa to return to the United States, Pederson said.

US House Urged Not To Vote On Armenian Genocide Bill

Just when I think the US government is finally going to do the right thing and recognize the Armenian genocide, George Bush and other politicians petitioned Nancy Pelosi not to vote on the resolution next month.

Massachusetts sued for teaching Armenian Genocide

A Washington-based Turkish organization has enlisted the support of two teachers and a student in a lawsuit against the State of Massachusetts that would compel the inclusion of historically inaccurate Armenian Genocide denial materials in the state’s education curriculum, reported the Armenian National Committee of Eastern Region.
