New American Ambassador To Armenia Arrived Recently

Washington has had no full-time ambassador in Yerevan since May 2006 and has attached great importance to sending Yovanovitch there at a time of increasing Russian influence in the region and a worsening conflict with Iran over its alleged development of nuclear arms, officials said at the time.

Vernissage Marketplace In Yerevan, Armenia

The Vernissage Marketplace is Yerevan is an amazing outdoor venue that holds a giant flea market every Saturday that runs from Republic Square all the way to Khanjian Street. It is open year round, though only on the weekends, except for a rump vernissage held daily at the end of the usual Vernissage venue where it meets Khanjian Street.

Karekin II Boston Visit: Sayat Nova Armenian Dancing

The Sayat Nova Armenian Dance Company of Boston (horrible website by the way), performed in front of the Catholicos and Supreme Patriarch of all Armenians on Friday night which was amazing. Inspired by a love for their heritage and for dancing, members of the Company are enthusiastic, devoted individuals, investing both time and talent to make the Sayat Nova Dance Company a symbol of pride and achievement for the Armenian people.

Armenians Protest Being Called Arminians

Arminianism holds to the following beliefs: Humans are naturally unable to make any effort towards salvation Salvation is possible by grace alone Works of human effort cannot cause or contribute to salvation God’s election is conditional on faith in Jesus Jesus’ atonement was for all people God allows his grace to be resisted by those unwilling to believe Salvation can be lost, as continued salvation is conditional upon continued faith This is 100% different in the Armenian Church and that is why Armenians are protesting against being perceived as such.

My Trip To Armenia 2001: Art Analysis in Armenia

Once all of the pieces are brought together, the painting symbolizes that no matter how little hope there was for Armenians after the Genocide and Turkey taking over Armenia’s biggest symbol, the Armenian people kept fighting, kept moving on and kept on believing in the Lord Jesus Christ.
